IRIB: "Iranian Jews to convene against Gaza genocide"

The Iranian Press periodically runs stories about how the sentiments of the Jewish community are 100% Khomeinist. Iran wasn't going to let the Gaza operation pass without something like this:
The Community of the Iranian Jews would stage a sit-in against the office of the UN office in protest against the horrendous masacre of the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Zionist regime.

The Community said in a statement that the personalities and lawmakers of the community would also participate in the gathering.

Gaza was in blood and fire Saturday and Sunday as the Zionist regime's genocidal strikes on the besieged territory left over 300 martyrs and over 700 wounded.

Thick clouds of smoke billowed into the sky. Mangled, bloodied and often charred corpses littered the pavement around Hamas security compounds, and frantic relatives flooded hospitals.

On Saturday, the Zionist regime, unable to break the spirit of the Palestinians after 18 months of putting Gaza under siege used 60 U.S.-supplied F-16 warplanes and Apache helicopters to drop more than 100 tons of bombs on Palestinians in Gaza.

The elected Premier of the popular Hamas government however vowed that the Palestinians would not stand down or cave in even if the Zionists should eradicate the Gaza Strip or kill thousands of people.

Hamas Political Bureau Chief Khaled Meshaal too called for a military intifada against the enemy and said resistance will continue through martyrdom missions.

Meanwhile, Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei issued a statement Sunday on the horrendous tragedy, strongly condemning the heinous complicity of the criminal Bush's regime with the Zionists, adding that the silence of some international bodies and some Arab states provided for the crimes.

Ayatollah Khamenei declared Monday as day of general mourning and called on all Muslim people and free men of the world to render their duty towards the tragic issue. The text of the statement is as follows.

"All the Palestinian Mujahid and other faithful of the world of Islam are supposed to defend the defenseless people of Gaza," the statement urged.
